Hip Hop Today vs Early Hip Hop: The switch up

A lot of people born in the early 1990s have so much negative energy towards todays hip hop. ITs as if they want things to be the exact same with no type of change or evolvement. I like both early hip hop and todays hip hop. the artist have changed and the lyric style has changed. Artist do a lot of networking and marketing for themselves and are able to come up with good ideas and good sounding music. back during the Pac era, there was a lot of real pen to paper writing. Now, artist feel its more raw and natural to just freestyle off their head. With technology these days its easier to become noticed too. Programs like Spotify, SoundCloud, Pandora, and apple music all help artist get their music out without having to sign to record labels. people say that the music today has no meaning. Really, that’s subjective how can you tell an artist what their music means to them? I appreciate both sides from teaching and telling stories, to club hits. I absorb it all and have good vibes towards it!
